FIELD: measurement technology, magnetic navigation. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in magnetic navigation for determination of coordinates and vector of velocity of source of magnetic field to prevent its collision with object which is carrier of means measuring parameters of magnetic field, in seismic systems establishing epicenter and activity of earthquake to conduct research for possibility of earthquake prediction. Device determining coordinates of source of magnetic field from mobile object has four three-component magnetometric pickups, twelve amplification-conversion units, four variable voltage generators, recording unit, angle- measuring unit and information processor positioned on object. Given structural units of device are positioned and interconnected properly. EFFECT: provision for unambiguous determination of coordinates of source of magnetic field in selected system of coordinates in absence and presence of external uniform magnetic field and lack of any information on source of magnetic field. 2 dwg
