FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: method and device can be used in magnetic exploration, magnetic navigation. Projections of vectors of field density is measured at two points of space chosen at corresponding distances from object at different moments of time. Method includes reproduction of vectors of field density in any mentioned point of space, which vectors are equal in value and are directed in opposition to original ones. Parameters characterizing magnetization of object are derived from results of measurement. Device has two three-component magnetic detector, six amplifying-conversing units, variable voltage two generators, registering unit, data processing unit, two regulation units, two angle-measuring units, two non-ferrous bases, two rotary devices and current stabilizer. According to the method, variations in geomagnetic field are used as data signals but errors as it was assumed before.
EFFECT: improved precision of measurements.
