FIELD: current transformers and current limiters. SUBSTANCE: current transformer has primary winding and secondary winding. Each winding has at least one first coil formed by winding one or more superconductors on metal former. Primary or secondary coil is connected in series with at least one second coil made as solid superconducting tube in the form of solenoid. Mentioned second coil is arranged coaxially with respect to mentioned first coil. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of transformer protection due to implementing current limiting function. 3 cl, 3 dwg
