FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of quality improvement of current includes stages, at which primary current (1) is sent through a primary winding (2), connection is provided between a secondary winding (3) and the primary winding (2) via a common magnetic flow. The secondary winding (3) comprises a superconductor, made as capable of weakening. Weakening causes transition of the superconductor from condition of superconductivity with low resistance into a weakened condition with high resistance, and a larger part (8) of the common magnetic flow of the primary winding (2) and the secondary winding (3) is sent to a ferromagnetic medium (5a). During weakening, the common magnetic flow is forwarded in such a manner that in the weakened state with high resistance of the superconductor the larger part (17) of the common magnetic flow is sent outside the ferromagnetic medium (5a).
EFFECT: efficient and cost-effective increase of current quality by reduction of harmonic distortions.
