FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to transformer construction, and can be used in various electrical devices related to conversion of current and voltage values. Single-phase transformer with increased load capacity consists of magnetic conductor, two windings. Frame of the first winding has closed, or U-shaped, or linear shape. First winding is primary or secondary, respectively, the second winding is secondary or primary. Windings are single-layer or multi-layer. Magnetic core is made of ferromagnetic material in form of geometrically identical elements, having total number n ≥ 2 and spaced apart with a rigid attachment at an equidistant distance from each other on the frame of the first winding, thus forming uniform heat-removing gaps. At the same time elements of magnetic conductor are electrically insulated from each other by electrically insulating material of frame of the first winding. Number of magnetic conductor elements depends on the transformation ratio and power of the transformer. First and second windings are made as insulated electric wire. At least one of the windings is made with winding coverage of each element of the magnetic core on each common turn or through several turns so that inside the window of the magnetic core element and, accordingly, the entire magnetic conductor of the wire is located less or more than outside. Second winding is made on each element of the magnetic conductor with identical winding elements in terms of technical characteristics.

EFFECT: improved cooling of magnetic conductor and windings due to their design with formation of heat-removing gaps and an increase in the heat-removing area, the possibility of using a minimum number of turns and layers of turns in the windings, the possibility of changing the transformation ratio, simplifying the winding of windings.
