FIELD: food-processing industry, in particular, equipment for producing of short-cut and thread common or shaped macaroni. SUBSTANCE: die insert has case, fluoroplastic layer and protective disk. Fluoroplastic layer and protective disk are provided with at least two steps corresponding to slots in fluoroplastic layer and case. Protective disk is provided with openings arranged at disk inlet and outlet ends to provide for effective section area coefficient c = S₁/S₂=1.2-2.0, where S₁ is effective section area of protective disk at its inlet end, S₂ is total effective section area of insert. Fluoroplastic layer is provided with additional step formed on its outer surface. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, prolonged service life and increased macaroni pressing speed. 7 dwg
