SUBSTANCE: the survey of patients should be carried out including fibrogastroscopy, analysis of patients' complaints and anamnesis, testing vegetative reaction, neuropsychological test, EEG, ultrasound dopplerography of cranial vessels, etc. By the results obtained one should diagnose either neurovegetative dystonia syndrome (NVDS) or vascular-metabolic encephalopathy syndrome (VMES). Further treatment is prescribed by taking into account the syndrome detected, either NVDS or VMES. In case of NVDS one should carry out acupuncture reflexotherapy and in case of VMES it is necessary to alternate acupuncture reflexotherapy and laseropuncture every other day.
