FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to gastroenterology, and can be used for diagnosis of idiopathic gastric and duodenal ulcer. Method comprises detection of Helicobacter pylori. Detecting that patients are taking non-steroid anti-inflammatory preparations (NSAID). Heart rhythm variability examination is performed. Vagosympathetic interaction index (LF/HF) is determined. If index is higher than 2.5 units, a negative result for detection of Helicobacter pylori and excluding effect of NSAID, idiopathic ulcer is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows to significantly reduce time of examination and higher reliability, as well as simple, easy and high information value of detection of idiopathic gastric and duodenal ulcer.
