FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has foot carcass, casing of cushioned ankle attached to crural tube fastener member by means of spring-loaded rod. Proximal end of the rod is passed through a plain bearing and its distal part is built-in into flexible buffer arranged inside of ankle casing. Conic cavity is produced in the lower buffer end engageable with rigidity control unit allowing contact area to be varied. EFFECT: smooth elongation and shortening of the prosthesis; smooth angular displacements in frontal and sagittal plane. 1 dwg
