FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves substituting orbit wall defect with implant. The implant being set the patient is brought out of anesthesia state in the course of surgical intervention showing the patient test objects. Subjective lack of diplopia being concluded, the patient is returned to anesthesia state and the operation is completed. Residual diplopia being detected, the patient is also returned to anesthesia state and position and/or shape of the implant is adjusted and/or additional implant(s) is (are) introduced and the patient brought out of anesthesia state, vision acuity is evaluated once more by showing the patient test objects. The actions are continued in this way until diplopia is eliminated. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; high accuracy in adjusting eyeball positions.
