FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology and plastic ophthalmosurgery. Method includes application of implant from porous biomaterial Alloplant. Before filling deficit of orbital tissues carried out is examination, the results of which are used to determine shape and size of defect to be filled. Modelling of implant configuration is carried out either with 5-7 mm excess of dimensions of determined displacement of orbital tissues in comparison with the healthy eye, on at least, one of three directions: horizontal, vertical, sagittal, or with 2-5% excess of detected defect of orbital volume.
EFFECT: application of claimed invention makes it possible to achieve increase of efficiency of patient's functional and cosmetic rehabilitation in case of volume deficit of orbital tissues.
