FIELD: stomatology. SUBSTANCE: adhesive composition contains mixed salts of alkyl vinyl ether/maleic acid copolymer or alkyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer, and/or alkyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride/isobutylene terpolymer wherein cation constituent is calcium and zinc cations in amounts corresponding to total number of initial carboxylic groups taking part in reaction, mixed salt also containing free acid component. Invention also relates to adhesive composition for dental prosthetics containing above-indicated composition and at least one inadhesive self-carrying layer and provides method of increasing adhesion of dental prostheses to oral cavity, for which composition of invention is applied on dental prostheses, directly on oral cavity, palate, or alveolar process in oral cavity or on both mentioned areas, after which dental prosthesis is fixed on alveolar process or on palate in oral cavity.
