FIELD: organic chemistry, pharmacy. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to thermodynamically resistant form of (R)-3-[[(4-fluorophenyl)-sulfonyl]- amino] -1,2,3,4-tetrahydro- 9H-carbazole-9-propanoic acid (ramatroban) of the formula: 
with melting point 151 C and values of peaks maximum at 3 338 cm-1, 1 708 cm-1 and 1 431 cm-1 in IR-spectrum. Invention relates to method for its preparing that involves suspending modifying form of ramatroban 11 with melting point 137 C in water or inert organic solvents, addition of stable modifying form 1 primer and conversion at 20-50 C up to attainment of the required conversion degree. Preparing thermodynamically resistant form allows its using as a medicinal agent for control of thromboxane A2-mediated diseases.
