FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: according to procedure liquid is first subjected to action of ultrasonic radiator and then of electric heater, dependence of temperature on time is recorded, these dependencies are compared during and after action on liquid of ultrasonic waves or electric heater and fed electric power is established. Liquid is subjected to action of ultrasonic radiator and electric heater in the course of 0.5-30.0 s with continuous recording of temperature and agitation till temperature rises not more than by 3 K. After approximation of curves of temperature dependence values of rise of temperature under action of ultrasound ΔT1 and electric heater ΔT2 in the course of fixed time intervals t1 and t2 correspondingly are determined. Absorbed acoustic power is found by value of ratio ΔT1/ΔT2 and value of fed electric power with due account of values t1 and t2. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy of acoustic power. 2 cl, 1 dwg
