FIELD: imitation of echo-location pulses of dolphin. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes springy cylindrical tube possessing internal conduit and holes in ends, toroidal contraction ring put on springy cylindrical tube and shutting off internal conduit. Springy cylindrical tube and contraction ring are made of rubber. Device also has vessel with compressed gas with pressure regulator and valve connected to one hole in springy cylindrical tube. Toroidal contraction ring and part of springy cylindrical tube on which toroidal contraction ring is put are sunk in aqueous medium. Device carries hydrophone placed in far radiation field and designed to check characteristics of acoustic pressure and its approximation to characteristic corresponding to radiation of echo-location pulses by dolphin. To achieve it pressure of gas fed into hole in springy cylindrical tube can be regulated with the help of above-mentioned pressure regulator. As result high degree of imitation of echo-location pulses of dolphin is secured with capability to form pulses of required shape by sound pressure, duration and spectrum.
