FIELD: physics, acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydro acoustics. This reflector comprises shell enveloping the core. Note here that said shell allows transmission of acoustic signals falling on shell surface, into said core for focusing and reflection of shell area located opposite the incidence area so that reflected acoustic signal leaves the core with shell of such sizes relative to said core that portion of acoustic waves falling on shell surface are combined inside the shell and directed therein around shell peripheral surface. Then, said signal is reradiated and combined with said output reflected acoustic signal to produce an amplified acoustic signal at the output. Ratio between sound wave transmission rate in the shell and mean transmission rate in the core varies from 2.74 to 3.4, preferably, from 2.74 to 2.86. Invention describes the underwater pipelines, measurement of water wash-out and the grates of reflectors and to methods of their fabrication.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of transmission.
