METHOD FOR PLASTY OF STRICTURE IN URETER'S LUMBAR DEPARTMENT Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2220664 C1

FIELD: medicine, urology. SUBSTANCE: one should perform resection of a stricture. Ureter should be mobilized up to its entrance. One should form a fragment out of bladder's lateral wall together with ureter's entrance by not damaging superior vesical vessels. Then one should replace mobilized ureter together with the abovementioned fragment upwards. Proximal end of replaced ureter should be sutured with ureter's prepelvic department or pelvis renalis. Defect in patient's bladder is sutured with interrupted sutures by developing ureter's distal part and by its length being equal to that of a stricture, by suturing fragment's ends together. The innovation enables to develop normally functioning ureter in case of available stricture of ureter's lumbar department. EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation. 1 ex
