FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: one should dissect cutaneous flap of anterior abdominal wall in projection of hernial protrusion. Epidermal surface of this flap is treated with physiological solution heated up to 90-94 C followed by its deepithelization. Excessive part of hernial sac is dissected up to hernial hilum. One should carry out the plasty of peritoneal defect and that of muscularaponeurotic layer with cutaneous flap. After carrying out plasty of anterior abdominal wall one should apply granules of porous titanium nickelide onto peridefective tissues and flap, at particles size ranged 100-2000 mcm at the quantity of 5-45% wound surface area. Skin and subcutaneous fiber should be sutured. The method enables to avoid the relapse of ventral hernia. EFFECT: higher efficiency of plasty.
