FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to epigastric region hernia surgery. Method involves excision of hernial sac. Dissection of front wall of abdominal rectus muscles is carried out at distance of 3-3.5 cm from edge of hernial orifice. Dissection of abdominal external oblique muscle are bilaterally from costal arch to wing of ilium. Inner edge of rectus sheathes are sutured at distance 0.5-1.0 cm from wound edge. Skin graft is laid over seams and fixed to edges of dissected aponeurosis and outer edges of rectus sheathes continuous duplicating suture.
EFFECT: method reduces intra-abdominal pressure and tension of sutured tissues.
