FIELD: heteroorganic synthesis catalysts. SUBSTANCE: hydrosilylation catalyst used in production of alkylsilanes is prepared through reaction of platinumhydrochloric acid with alkenylpolysiloxanes and cyclosiloxanes in solvent at elevated temperature and stirring, vinylsiloxane unit-to-platinum ratio being (40-50):1, followed by adding sodium bicarbonate at ambient temperature of reaction mixture. Most preferable cyclosiloxane is compound of following formula: , in which R' represents ethyl, fluoroethyl, or phenyl; R represents R' or methyl; n=1-3; m=1-3; and n+m=3 or 4.
