FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed coupling gear is designed for coupling passenger car with trailer. It is made in form of U-shaped post whose free legs are connected by coaxially arranged joints with lower part of car body between its front and rear axles. Center of crossmember of U-shaped post is connected by longitudinal joint with end of pivot installed in bushing secured on front part of trailer body. Ends of U-shaped post are made adjustable in length to secure at different height on car body. To prevent jack-knifing at sharp application of brakes, trailer is furnished with inertia brake. For this purpose bushing is fastened by means of cross joints. Bushing is secured at one end through joint directly on front part of trailer and at other end is connected from two sides, through joints and links in form of rectilinear sliding pairs, one of which is made in form of inertia braking hydraulic device and other in form of drive of drive with reciprocating along ln link. EFFECT: improved reliability of device, enlarged sphere of its application. 3 cl, 6 dwg
