FIELD: shipbuilding; submarine ships running under ice conditions and breaking ice cover by resonance method at surfacing through close pack-ice. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes excitation of resonance flexural gravitational waves in ice during motion of submarine ship under ice at resonance speed and during repeated passages. Ship runs close to lower surface of ice and her speed during repeated passages shall correspond to maximum wave resistance. After each passage, safety of surfacing is estimated by determination of degree of breaking ice judged from angles of horizontal planes of ship. EFFECT: enhanced safety of surfacing. 1 dwg
