FIELD: shipbuilding; submarine ships running under ice conditions and breaking ice cover. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in excitation of resonance flexural gravitational waves in ice when ship is running under ice cover at resonance speed. Ship makes repeated passes under field of ice to be broken. Number of lanes is limited by number which does not cause intensive vibration of ship's propeller. Repeated passes are performed at critical speed. EFFECT: enhanced safety of surfacing of submarine ship under ice conditions.2 cl
