FIELD: electronic engineering; television information displays. SUBSTANCE: gas panel has first and second relatively perpendicular dielectric barriers which enclose display elements formed in anode intersections disposed between second dielectric barriers and which are grouped according to display elements of wire cathodes disposed between first insulating dielectric barriers; it also has dielectric projections formed on upper bases of second dielectric barriers. Wire cathodes are disposed under dielectric projections in second dielectric barriers and spaced through 0.08 0.32 mm from upper bases, height of dielectric projections being found from equation given in description of invention. EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of display elements at low brightness. 1 cl, 1 dwg
