FIELD: electrical engineering; laminated contact members for low-voltage switching devices. SUBSTANCE: laminated contact designed for use in devices operating at high temperatures has working layer of silver oxide metal composition and auxiliary layer of nickel, as well as newly introduced intermediate solid silver layer whose contact and, hence, contact of metal oxide particles, with nickel is made impossible during sintering process in the course of manufacture by powder metallurgy method. This enhances cohesive strength of laminated contact layers. EFFECT: enhanced number of on/off cycles till first signs of microcracks. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl, 6 ex
