FIELD: electrical engineering; contacts for low-voltage circuit-opening devices. SUBSTANCE: laminated contact has three layers, that is effective layer of silver and tin oxide composition, auxiliary layer of copper or its alloys, and intermediate layer of following composition, mass percent: copper, 5 - 75; nickel, 0.5 - 20; silver, the rest. In addition intermediate layer is minimum 10 mcm thick which ensures high reliability of connection between effective and auxiliary layers and, consequently, provides for desired resistance to in-service separation of contact layers usually occurring as result of contact collision during switching operations. EFFECT: enhanced precision of connection between effective and auxiliary layers. 1 cl, 1 tbl
