FIELD: antenna engineering. SUBSTANCE: biconical antenna that can be used in radio communication systems on mobile equipment, in field strength and power flow measuring systems, and the like has two hollow coaxial metal cones with their vertices facing one another, feeding line connected to vortices of hollow metal cones, and shunts installed perpendicular to bases of hollow metal cones which join edges of the latter; it also has dielectric ball whose center is disposed on axis of hollow metal cones between their vortices; dielectric ball is provided with two coaxial conical depressions whose points face center of dielectric ball; these depressions are joined with respective surfaces of hollow metal cones. EFFECT: improved matching with feeding line in operating frequency band; enhanced mechanical and electric strength. 1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
