FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering, in particular to vibrator antennas, it can be used as transceiving antennas in radio engineering systems for various purposes, including shipboard radio communication systems. The vibrator antenna includes the first and second metal screens, between which asymmetrical vibrator is installed, made in the form of two identical metal plates of rectangular shape with semicircular lower part, which are installed coaxially and perpendicular to each other and to both screens. The vertexes of semicircular lower parts of the plates are connected to the central conductor of a coaxial line. The external conductor of the coaxial line is connected to the first metal screen. The second metal screen is attached to upper ends of both plates. The invention differs from the prototype in that two screens are additionally connected to each other with edges in the points formed at the intersection of screen edges with the plane continuation line and curved conductors made of two equal parts. The points of connection of conductors’ parts are located in the plane of metal plates and are drawn from the line of connection of the points of both screens edges outside of the antenna at a distance comparable with 0.1λmax.
EFFECT: improving the shape of the radiation pattern of the vibrator antenna in the horizontal plane, increasing the mechanical strength of the antenna structure, increasing operating frequency range.
