FIELD: beekeeping. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing beeswax to produce perfumery and cosmetic raw materials. Starting material, in particular divided wax or a waxed material, is subjected to two-step extraction. In the first step, extraction is accomplished with liquefied carbon dioxide for 2-4 h at 22-26 C and pressure 6.0-7.0 MPa. Resulting carbon dioxide extract is then treated with 94% ethanol for 5-10 min at 20-25 C giving alcohol-soluble and alcohol-insoluble portions.
