FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves treating ill area on extremity with longitudinal electromagnetic field which source is treatment element manufactured as inductance coil in postoperative period. Transverse electromagnetic field which source is the second treatment element manufactured as two inductance coils connected in series and in conformance with each other is applied concurrently with the longitudinal electromagnetic field. Each active element is a part of oscillation circuit in corresponding auto-oscillator. The auto-oscillators produce sinusoid oscillations modulated in amplitude with low frequency signal corresponding to carrying frequencies F1 and F2 in bandwidth of 1-10 Hz and modulation frequencies of 10 Hz- and F3 and F4 in bandwidth of 10-1000 Hz so that F1 = F3 and F2 = F4,. The procedure is carried out once a day during 20-30 min. The whole cycle is 10- 15 procedures long. The device has power supply source and action element producing longitudinal electromagnetic field as inductance coil and the second action element producing transverse electromagnetic field connected in series and in conformance with each other. The first auto-oscillator having the first action element, the second auto-oscillator having the second action element, the first and the second action element, the first and the second control circuit connected to the first and the second auto-oscillator and two low frequency modulators. Each auto-oscillator is connected to power supply source via corresponding modulator. The action elements are integrated within single functional unit. The device also has two dielectric carcasses manufactured as radially arranged leaflet gaps. Winding of each coil of the second action element is manufactured as spiral wound over corresponding dielectric carcass so that spiral wire envelops in turn this or that side of each carcass leaflet. Timer unit connected to power supply source is also available. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 4 cl, 2 dwg
