FIELD: chemistry of organophosphorous compounds, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for preparing triphenylphosphine. Method involves electrolysis of white phosphorus and phenylhalide solution taken in the mole ratio = 1:(20-28) in dimethylformamide medium in the presence of phono-salt (or without the latter) using platinum, nickel or glassy carbon cathode and soluble anode at temperature 20-50 C and current density value 4-8 mA/cm2. Chlorine-, bromine-, iodine-derivatives of benzene are used as phenylhalide source; Et4NBF4 and ZnCl2 are used as phono-salt; Mg, Zn or Al are used as a soluble anode. Method provides preparing triphenylphosphine from white phosphorus directly for a single stage under the mold conditions with the yield up to 80%. Triphenylphosphine can be used as an extractant of heavy metals, as component of catalysts in carrying out industrial reactions of hydrogenation, hydroxylation, hydroformylation and others. EFFECT: improved preparing method. 4 cl, 13 ex
