FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the area of chemical technology, namely to the area of electrolytic compounds production, particularly to the method for production of intercalation compounds containing alternating monolayers of metal dichalcogenide and organic substance. Intercalation compounds on the base of lamellated metal dichalcogenides and tetraalkyl ammonium cations are made using electrolytic reduction of powdered metal dichalcogenide dispersed in electrolyte on metallic electrode with separation of ready product by filtering. Electrolyte is the solution of tetraalkyl ammonium salt in organic aprotic solvent. For metal dichalcogenide production the metals are used selected from the group: Ti, Zr, Nb, Ta, Mo, and halcogene used is S or Se. Intercalation compounds are produced in presence of electron transfer mediators, selected out of group of aromatic hydrocarbons, compound ethers or heterocyclic compounds, having reduction potentials in the range -1.8:-2.3 V such as methyl benzoate, benzophenone, anthracene, phenanthrene, isoquinoline.
EFFECT: increased output of intercalation organo-inorganic compounds, provision of compounds synthesis containing different tetraalkyl ammonium cations and also the possibility of using electrolyser with non-separated cathode and anode spaces that makes the method more simple and efficient.
