FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to synthesis of arylene-type polyetherphosphine oxides in melt and application of the latter for manufacturing eye lenses. Method comprises polymerization of components containing trimethylsilyl derivative of bisphenol and activated aromatic dihalide at temperature gradient by 50-75 C exceeding vitrification temperature of polyetherphosphine oxide.
