FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in impulse variable-speed drives for converting motion, and also in other mechanisms for connecting shafts in case when driven shaft should receive torque of definite sign. Proposed mechanism contains ratchet, holder with pistons fitted in guides for engagement with elastic antiknock member of holder and cheeks secured on holder. Each piston contains axle of which pawl in mounted for engagement with ratchet, being pressed to ratchet by elastic member. Novelty is that flange is rigidly secured on ratchet shaft to which ratchet disks are connected with spring-loaded teeth which can be driven flush and returned into initial position by means of compression springs connected by one side to disks and by other side to thrust pins lined up with high molecular material. Thrust pins can displace in limit slots provided in disks. Space with beads is made in each tooth from side of its working part to limit travel of plate fitted in said space engagement through one side with pawls. At other side of plate cavity is provided for engagement with antiknock spring installed in cylindrical slot made in said space for limiting travel of plate. Rectangular slot is provided in each tooth at curvilinear side. Width of slot exceeds width of plate to permit installation and replacement of plate. For this purpose special holes are made in plates. EFFECT: increased service life of mechanism, reduced noise at free-wheeling. 2 cl, 5 dwg
