FIELD: data transmission over power distribution lines using high-frequency currents. SUBSTANCE: device has high-frequency toroidal-core transformer whose primary winding is connected through its one lead to grounded communication equipment and through other one, to ground circuit, and transformer secondary winding is made in the form of conductor passed through toroidal core carrying primary winding and connected on one end to cable metal sheath and armor; current-carrying conductors of power transmission cable are connected through respective capacitors to point of connection of second end of transformer secondary winding and one of choke leads whose other lead is connected to ground circuit. EFFECT: reduced attenuation of high-frequency signal passed from communication equipment to power transmission cable conductors and back. 1 cl, 1 dwg
