SUBSTANCE: apparatus for receiving and transmitting information over electric power distribution networks, having a transmitter, a receiver and a matching transformer connected thereto, is equipped with shunts. Each shunt consists of a capacitor and an inductor connected in series and is connected by its ends to points of connecting bus conductors with cable conductors. Output windings of the transformer are connected by one of their ends through high-voltage separating capacitors to one of the ends of the shunts and by the other to the earth. The capacitors and inductors of the shunts are selected such that wave impedances of the shunts and cable conductors are matched.
EFFECT: high reliability of communication and reduced signal distortion.
