FIELD: medicine; medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves producing bone defect as niche on the area between branch notch and angle of the mandible. Mechanical action is carried out by applying compression controllable in direction and magnitude using device manufactured from superelastic titanium nickelide set and fixed in the produced bone defect. The device has fixing members and active drive. The fixing members have two contact platforms oppositely arranged in parallel, manufactured from porous titanium nickelide and connected with active drive. The active drive is manufactured from titanium nickelide wire possessing superelastic properties as at least one spiral spring of tension or separating action. EFFECT: reduced risk of traumatic complications; enhanced effectiveness of treatment. 4 cl, 5 dwg, 1 tbl
