FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording reflex eye movements in response to showing test objects sometimes from left, sometimes from right in succession to each eye. Asymmetry coefficient values are determined for the parameters. Physiological asymmetry coefficient value being surpassed, predisposition to convergent squint is to be diagnosed. The asymmetry coefficient value for each of the parameters is calculated from formula K as= (N right - N left)/(N right + N left) * 100%, where N is the value of each of the parameters when eyes move to the right or to the left.
