FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used for medical examining to reveal as pathology and adaptive reconstruction. Oculomotor reactions to demonstration of visual stimulus in form of point to tested patient are registered, which point moves along screen, as at presence and at absence of visual errors in form of moving ellipses. Spontaneous eye-moving activity is determined additionally by means of electric oculography or video oculography in dialog mode when eyes are kept open or shut when patient looks into center of screen or draws his/her eyes maximally aside. Characteristics of fixation turns of eyes are determined at spasmodic and smooth movement of point stimulus in different directions along straight line and along sinusoid in horizontal, vertical and diagonal directions within +-10 and +-15 degrees before and after vestibular stimulation by active sinusoidal motions of head at frequency of rotation of 0.01-0,1 Hz at horizontal, sagital and front plants. Then amplitude of fixation turns is measured as well as amplitude of smooth watching motions of eyes and of their speed. Data received is used to calculate factor of amplification of optical oculomotor reactions, factor of efficiency of watching and factor of amplification of vestibular-ocular reflex. At deviations of values of amplitudes, speeds and values of mentioned factor from physiological norm within 6%-15%, functional changes in vestibular-vision system and watching function of eyes are diagnosed. If any mentioned factor deviates from norm for more than 15%, organic changes in vestibular-visuals system and watching function of eyes are diagnosed.
EFFECT: ability of revealing and estimating subclinical changes.
