FIELD: medicine, phthisiology. SUBSTANCE: one should perform an intake of pharmacological preparations for etiotropic therapy of pulmonary tuberculosis of both main and reserve group at simultaneous inhalations of peppermint essential oil, moreover, these inhalations should be applied for 2 mo, not less beginning since the signs of infiltrates' resorption, closing cavities of bacterial formation degradation and cessation, then, under condition of further infiltrates' resorption or stabilization of this process and absence of bacterial formation one should apply two pharmacological preparations for etiotropic therapy of pulmonary tuberculosis of both main and reserve group in combination with pulmonary inhalations with or without peppermint essential oil. The present innovation enables to prevent exacerbations and relapses and, also, tubercular process progress in patients with infiltrated pulmonary tuberculosis.
