FIELD: fire extinguishment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fire extinguishing means. A fire extinguisher for solid foam extinguishing contains a sealed container with a liquid component of a fire extinguishing agent, a means for mixing and foaming a mixture of components of a fire extinguishing agent, a solid fuel gas generator with the possibility of displacing a liquid component of a fire extinguishing agent, a means for feeding the components of a fire extinguishing agent from the container into a mixing and foaming device. The solid-fuel gas generator contains a steel case, made in the form of an upper and lower part fastened to each other, in which the launch unit, a fire-conducting cord, a set of gas-generating composition blocks, a protective and fastening layer are located, in the upper part of the case, between the lower and upper perforated discs there is a pelletized cooler , as well as the cavity of the gas manifold and the gas outlet, which is connected through the gas supply pipeline, the gas distribution unit and the gas supply pipeline for displacing the liquid component to the inlet of the sealed container with the liquid component, as well as through the starting membrane along the gas line and the gas supply pipeline to activate the ash-gelation process, it is connected to the inlet of the mixing and foaming unit. The outlet of the sealed container with the liquid component through the siphon tube, the starting membrane along the liquid line and the liquid component supply pipeline is connected to the inlet of the mixing and foaming unit. The starting membranes along the gas line and along the liquid line are made with the possibility of opening at the same pressure, and the mixing and foaming device contains a gas-liquid mixer, a foam-generating barrel, nozzles for supplying a liquid component and gas, as well as a gas pipe, a collector of a liquid component, foam-generating grids and an iso-gradient confuser.
EFFECT: as a result, the simultaneous supply of the liquid component of the extinguishing agent and the activator gas to the mixing and foaming unit is ensured for reliable operation and stable formation of fast-hardening foam during the entire operation time of the fire extinguisher.
