FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly gas generation devices for supplying combined fire extinguishing agent to fire site or for displacement thereof from cylinder.
SUBSTANCE: gas generator comprises combustion chamber with front lid and solid-fuel end-burning charge, gas pipe with nozzle head arranged in lid and pyrocartridge. Ignition means are installed outside combustion chamber and connected to front lid. Ignitions means are formed as tore and tore cavity is connected to combustion chamber by orifices directed so that orifice axes converge to one point on solid-fuel charge surface. Tore cavity is filled with pyrotechnic composition made as cylinders of different lengths. Cylinders are covered with armoring composition. Cylinder number and lengths thereof are selected to provide reliable ignition.
EFFECT: increased reliability, reduced size, giving low-energy features to solid-fuel charge.
