DEVICE FOR TAKING LIQUID OUT OF CLOSED VESSEL Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for taking liquids out of closed vessel which is part of portable device whose position is changing in space. Proposed device contains closed vessel furnished with porous accumulating medium. Device is assembled in common unit. Medium preferably fills only part of vessel and is at least near end of outlet union and is in contact with liquid. Accumulating medium serves as temporary reservoir for liquid being also barrier for bubbles. Accumulating medium holds some liquid close to end of outlet union even when the end lies higher than level of liquid in vessel. Device provides for presence of hollow space made in accumulating medium in area of end of outlet union, thanks to which accurate metering out of liquid is provided. Vessel furnished with accumulating medium can be used as storage of active component for liquid medicines in portable sprayer used for inhalation.
