FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for killing narrow-band frequency vibrations in different constructions. According to invention, proposed vibration damper contains cylindrical sealed housing accommodating piston installed for displacement along axis and end face chambers- pneumatic spring located between end face of piston and housing and communicating through throttling channel. Piston is pressed from end faces by coil springs. Ends of coil springs pointed to piston are located in ring cylindrical cavities in piston. Throttling channel is made in form spiral groove on cylindrical outer surface of piston. EFFECT: simplified design, dispensing with external power sources. 2 cl, 5 dwg
