FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for damping mechanical oscillations. Proposed damper contains hollow cylinder with covers at its end faces. Cylinder accommodates hollow rod with outer end. Piston is rigidly connected to rod. Calibrated throttling hole in form of cylinder with diverging widening cones is made on inner end of rod. Profile section of steam is located inside throttling hole. One end of steam profiled section is connected with outer end of rod through spring and adjusting screw, and other end is connected with additional piston located in rodless space of cylinder and provided with longitudinal calibrated hole in piston. Rubber torus is secured on lower cover, inner space of torus being filled with compressed gas. Cylinder is filled with noncompressible liquid up to upper cover with formation of gas space in neck of upper cover equal in volume to inner gas space of rubber torus. Diameter ds of profiled section of stem placed in center of throttling hole is calculated by formula. EFFECT: improved damping. 3 dwg
