FIELD: ammunitions. SUBSTANCE: the ammunition has a shell or bullet (hereinafter referred to as "shell"), case, propellant charge initiation device and a container made in the form of a sleeve with a propellant charge and perforation of the bottom partition, facing the shell, in the form of longitudinal through holes. The container is installed and fixed between the shell and the case bottom. The case is bottle-shaped, it is assembled of the front and rear parts interconnected without any possibility of movement relative to each other, the container-sleeve is installed without any clearance with the rear part of the case, and the thickness of the partition exceeds the diameter of the holes of its perforation at least by four times. In particular recommended modifications of the device the container is H-shaped in the longitudinal section with an additional, oppositely installed sleeve so that the bottom partition separates their cavities, and the cylindrical wall envelopes the shell with reduction serving at the same time as the case mouth, the container on the whole serves as the front part of the case. The partition has a tapered side surface. The rear part of the case completely envelopes the sleeve with the propellant charge and flared on the side surface of the partition with formation of a joint of the case parts and, at the same time, of its transient cone. The thickness of the partition and the diameter of the hole of its perforation are made in relation 5:1. The diameter of the holes of the perforation of the partition is less than the standardized averaged minimum size of the particles of the propellant charge, and the quantity of the holes corresponds to the maximum probable coefficient of perforation, proceeding from the condition of strength. EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of the ammunition due to enhanced efficiency of use of the propellant charge and, respectively, of the shot power, or reduced necessity of the mass of the propellant charge due to provision mainly of the dynamic action of the combustion products (gases) on the shell and reduced share of the residual energy of gases after the shell leaves the bore, reduced static action of gases on the other surfaces limiting the space past the shell, enhanced adaptability to manufacture of the construction, suitability for bottle-shape cases. 6 cl, 3 dwg
