FIELD: systems controlling road traffic with use if traffic light. SUBSTANCE: warning optical device includes board carrying matrix of light-emitting diodes. Salient feature of invention lies in fabrication of board in the form of stratified structure containing metal base and layers of visco-elastic electric insulating material put in sequence on it and solid dielectric material with metallized layer in which topology of printed-circuit board is built. Light-emitting diodes in case of planar or through assembly are mounted with provision for thermal contact with metal base, each being equipped with optical system with specified pattern of light radiation, with Fresnel lens in particular. Apart from this device is provided with sealing protective case with clear cap and power supply source housed in case filled with gaseous atmosphere. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness and improved operational characteristics of device thanks to formation of required distribution of luminous flux, its functional stability with change of temperature and increased noise immunity. 13 cl, 3 dwg
