POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR MOTOR-DRIVEN LOADS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2222863 C2

FIELD: networks for dc power supply to motor-driven loads such as shipboard equipment. SUBSTANCE: system designed to supply with power motor-driven loads has plurality of power units connected in parallel at output end; current input of each power unit is connected to controllable rectifier connected to its supply mains; rectifier has control input for connecting voltage regulator and output coupled with voltage regulator input to feed signal indicating actual value of additional signal; as an alternative loads are connected to respective supply mains through inverter that functions as controllable regulator through control input, additional signal branched off inverter input voltage and/or supply mains voltage being applied to regulator input along with actual and desired values; and finally, in case of at least two interconnected loads, provision is made for feeding additional signal branched off input current passed from supply mains to inverter or off respective power to regulator input along with actual and desired values. EFFECT: reduced weight and reactive power. 8 cl, 1 dwg
