FIELD: transport engineering; mechanical antitheft devices. SUBSTANCE: proposed antitheft device is essentially a hollow rod driven into wheel arch through aperture of wheel arch and fitted on rod member of suspension: lever, lateral stabilizer. Locking stem moves inside rod which is fixed by lock in locked state and precludes removal of rod from part of suspension. Rod prevents turning of steerable wheels and hijacking of vehicle, even by towing. EFFECT: convenience in use. 2 cl, 2 dwg
