FIELD: electric engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has tray with cup-shaped recess and flange arranged peripherally relative to it for supporting separating inlay material between flanges of adjacent electrode devices. The Separating member is placed between anode surface of the first electrode device and cathode of the second electrode device so that anode surface is practically parallel to cathode surface and faces it but remains isolated and distant from cathode surface and tightly sealed with the separating member. The device has electric conducting plate, inlet and outlet opening. The plate is electrically connected to the tray via a means manufactured as a set of electric conducting members. Electrode device being anode one, the cup-shaped recess has a lot of protrusions projecting inside. Electrode device being cathode one, the cup-shaped recess has a lot of protrusions projecting outside. The set of the cup-shaped tray recess protrusions projecting inside is coupled to ones of the adjacent cup-shaped recess projecting outside in an assembly composed of a set of electrode devices. EFFECT: wide range of functional applications when used as bipolar unit or electrolyzer unit; simplified production process. 82 cl, 11 dwg
